Quartier des
Halles Paris

The Parisian master architect Georges-Eugène Baron Haussmann gave this district a new face; Emile Zola’s Roman “The Belly of Paris” took place in Les Halles. An appartement on the two top floors of a Haussmann building was renovated and redesigned by harryclarkinterior to regain its former splendour. In order to emphazise the collection of modern and antiques art, furniture and textiles, harry clark created a colour schemes made up from light blues, greens, elegant greys and neutrals. Art Déco furniture, among them highly desired designs of the twins Jacques and Jean Adnet, emit the elegance  which is connected to the Savoir-vivre of the 1st Arrondissement.

The bathrooms are equipped with fine green marble and joined by golden mosaic tiles. Another touch of Art Déco style added to the framework of late classical architecture with wood panelled walls, stuccoed ceilings and elaborate fire places. This concept created an auratic atmosphere which proofed worthy of the style city which is called Paris.
